Wavecom is a leading provider of wireless communication solutions for tracking, alarm and other security systems. Our technology is used in a wide range of wireless security systems: In building alarms, a GSM/GPRS connection complements or replaces landlines. For mobile assets such as vehicles, wireless data communication allows continuous monitoring. Wireless CPUs

GSM/GPRS, CMDA, EDGE and 3G for wireless security solutions

Unlike the traditional wireless modem, which only receives and transmits data, Wavecom Wireless CPUs are programmable processors which also act as wireless modules or wireless modems. A GSM/GPS tracking system or wireless alarm system can be embedded directly on the Wireless CPU, improving architecture efficiency and reducing cost. Our product range includes a combined GSM, GPS and satellite data communication solution for global asset tracking.

Wireless Data Encryption

Open AT Software Suite: Cellular software for data security

Our wireless CPUs are backed by a C and Lua-based wireless software suite which includes a real-time operating system and a software development environment based on Eclipse. A series of Plug-Ins provides added functionalities: GPS for combined GSM/GPS tracking solutions, aqLink for reliable delivery of critical data, Security for GSM jamming detection and wireless data encryption, and more.
