ATEME has its headquarters in Bievres, near Paris, France, with offices in Montreal, Tokyo, Hong Kong and Los Angeles.
ATEME provides high-end video security solutions with unmatched compression quality and an extensive list of features. ATEME’s renowned technology supports both standard and HD content, deployed across any platform – from mobile to HD to video security networks.
ATEME offer a variety of IP Video / Audio Encoders each providing the user with different features such as internally developed MPEG-4 encoding technology, internal storage and integrated web interfaces. The VSIP4 and VSIP2 Extreme both offer integrated DNA technology, which not only improves the video quality it also reduces network bitrates.
VSIP4 is ATEME’s latest 4 channel IP H.264 video/audio encoder with integrated DNA technology. The compact design makes it possible to fit 80 video channels on a 3U rack. Each stream can be configured and managed as required via an integrated web interface. Configuration settings are then held in memory on a back plane integrated into the rear of the rack housing. VSIP4 is the first product from ATEME to incorporate the full range of tools available in the Dynamic Network Adaption (DNA) feature set to reduce network bitrates while providing even further improvements in video quality and intelligent alarm functionalities.
VSIP2 is ATEME’s single channel IP video encoder with integrated DNA technology. It is available in either MPEG-4 or H.264 and includes optional audio features. The new version of the VSIP2 product now incorporates an extended temperature range (-40°C to +70°C) for use in extreme temperature environments. The MPEG-4 version of VSIP2 incorporates many of the features contained within the Dynamic Network Adaption (DNA) package while The H.264 version includes the complete range of DNA tools.
VSIP3 is ATEME’s dual channel IP video encoder. This compact rack design supports two video channel inputs. Video is encoded using ATEME’s internally developed MPEG-4 encoding technology providing customers with the best possible video quality. As with all ATEME products, the encoding algorithm used is completely standards compliant thus ensuring compatibility with future and existing MPEG-4 products. Using the integrated web interface, each video input can be configured with flexibility and ease to best suit your particular video security needs.
VISIO is ATEME’s standalone 4 channel IP video encoder with internal storage. Its innovative architecture is based on two processors (DSP for video processing and a general purpose processor (GPP) for recording, configuration management and streaming) and offers unprecedented video quality while enabling local recording through its internal storage capability. Video is encoded using ATEME’s internally developed MPEG-4 encoding technology providing customers with the best possible video quality. Audio can be encoded via the integrated AAC-LC audio codec. An integrated web interface is included to configure video inputs.
ATEME’s powerful network video recording engine is a truly interoperable enterprise IP recording solution. Benefit from the latest video encoding technology and easily upgrade your existing supervision management system to record both MPEG-4 and H.264 video plus the ability to record AAC audio.
VIPIX is a hardware decoding product used for decoding network video streams for display on analog monitors. Decode video in either MPEG-4 or H.264 while maintaining the original high quality of the encoded video stream. VIPIX can be configured to decode and display up to 4 MPEG-4 video streams at any one time and can be configured to store up to 8 network video streams for decoding on request or on a fixed time interval sequence.
