The Temporary Roadblock Apparatus Pack is the result of a collaborative effort between two companies that realised the need for a completely portable yet highly effective security checkpoint and counter-terrorism device.
Designed to multi-task as a battery operated remote control or manned checkpoint, access gate, roadblock, detour, hi security parking, perimeter control and asset protection device, the TRAP only allows authorized vehicles to pass and instantly flattens all tires of an offending vehicle.
The TRAP can be quickly deployed in response to an elevated threat level, before, during or after an incident or accident and significantly enhances personnel safety and protects assets at military installations, piers, airports, refineries, corporations, chemical and oil plants, storage depots, VIP security and virtually anywhere security is a concern.
Currently used by the military and industry, the TRAP also has the flexibility to be used as a simple traffic control gate with or without the Road Blades increasing its versatility.
