Armour and Ballistic Protection for Civilian Applications

Scantex Seat Protection against Shrapnel and EOD's.
Offering protection at the back and the bottom of a vehicle seat. Scantex seat protection is effective against shrapnel from hand grenades, hand guns and small personnel mines. Scantex seat protection can be used with a safety belt and the level of protection is higher than that offered by a normal fragmentation jacket.
Scantex Side Protection from Ballistics and Blasts
Lightweight armour for the sides of a vehicle. These panels can be fitted onto the inside of a soft-skinned vehicle. They consist of a ballistic steel strike surface of overlapping plates and a ballistic blanket. The panels feature Velcro and fast-lock buttons for rapid fixing and removal. An ultra lightweight Polyethylene panel solution is also available.
The Scantex Bomb Blanket: Light Weight Ballistic Protection
Offering emergency ballistic protection for suspicious baggage. It is designed to capture metal fragments after an explosive detonation, reducing damage and casualties.

Scanfiber produce a range of hard armour and flexible armour, which can be tailor cut for specific vehicles and can be fitted within a few hours. The choice of lightweight composite materials helps to reduce maintenance costs and extend vehicle life times.
