Web-Based Surveillance Security: Vigilant RemoteViewer

RemoteViewer is a CCTV remote application for organisations spread over large geographical territories, such as banks, retail stores, schools, university campuses, hospitals, government and military establishments. Equipped with this enhanced application, operators gain full control of their distributed remote-sites, watch real-time or recorded video and investigate incidents immediately as they occur, at anytime and anywhere over the network. To be truly effective, it allows investigators to control cameras and DVR functionalities from multiple sites, including digital zooming and PTZ control.

Enabling customers invested in analogue surveillance and security cameras to cost-effectively migrate to an IP-video environment, the NetStream IP encoder’s line of products plays an essential role in today’s increasingly digitized IP surveillance systems. NetStream converts the output of analogue cameras into high resolution, highly efficient real-time MPEG-4 video and audio streams and delivers them over the IP network, to a network based recording solution such as the Vigilant NetVR or to an IP control room solution such as the Vigilant NetView.

Offering one of the industry’s broadest channels per chassis range, the NetStream series starts with a single channel, wall-mounted solution and scales up to 40 channels encoding rack-mounted platform, equipped with redundant fans and power supply modules.
