ICx Technologies is a developer of advanced technologies and products for effective security solutions. We specialise in wide area surveillance, detection and software products to secure borders, nuclear power plants, seaports, and other critical facilities and public infrastructure. We work in partnership with large systems integrators to develop surveillance and detection solutions for law enforcement, mass transit, first responders and the military.

Security Thermal Imaging

Some things cannot be seen with the human eye. ICx has a family of security thermal imaging cameras that provide visuals through fog, rain, glass, and more. The DefendIR™ is a security thermal imager that combines both CCD and infrared technologies. The Illuminator™ is a low-Light CCD camera / high-powered spotlight that can disable an intruder with its candle power. Orion™ is a cooled IP addressable camera; designed with test and diagnostic software, and the VisionIR™ is a fixed thermal imaging camera designed for perimeter security.

Orion is an industry leading long-range security thermal imaging product based on the same FLIR technology developed for the U.S. Military. The Orion vaults ahead of conventional FLIR capabilities through the innovative use of new and proprietary technology. VisionSense^TM combines video feeds from both a visible light (CCD) camera and an Infrared camera. It offers user-controlled, customised real-time mixing and merging of the two visual sources.

Surveillance Towers and Radars

ICx surveillance towers and radars are on duty at locations such as Hoover Dam and the Statue of Liberty. SkyWatch attends events like the Super Bowl, the Daytona 500 and it was guarding the revelers at Barak Obama’s inauguration on the National Mall. 

Cerberus™ is an unmanned, mobile surveillance platform that can be integrated with radars, cameras, and sensors, and is part of the “virtual fence” on the U.S.’ Southern border. It can be networked with legacy or new equipment, as can the SkyWatch™ , which can be manned or unmanned and is a mobile surveillance tower.

Portable Radiation Detection

Seeing beyond the fence is critical to the prevention of any incident. ICx Technologies STS-350™, STS-700™, and the STS-1400 are portable, low cost systems that see out to 350 meters, 700 meters and 1400 meters. They can comprise one or more remotely stationed radar sensors networked to a central control-and-display unit. All ICx radars provide advanced portable radiation detection, tracking algorithms and over-water applications. The visuals are in high definition; the devices operate in virtually any climate, weather or lighting condition to provide 24/7 security, scanning 360° every second.

The STS-4400™ provides automated wide-area surveillance, tracking of intruding personnel and vehicles; it can communicate information to a command post for response determination. This radar is designed for force protection, border surveillance, airport security, perimeter surveillance.

The STS-12000™ was engineered to be an integrated radar and optical verification system; low power RF surveillance system (RDTS).

Surveillance Radar Systems

The STSTM Range of Perimeter Surveillance Radar Systems provides automated perimeter security for encampments, installations, equipment, and other high value permanent and temporary sites. The STS 350, STS 1400 and STS 12000 radars provide short, medium and long range solutions for wide area surveillance.
