Finger Vein Recognition – Access Control Unit

This unique Finger Vein Recognition technology identifies finger vein patterns that exist inside the human body, eliminating tampering and increasing reliability and security. The technology is Fast, Accurate, Secure, non traceable and user friendly, it is already established in Japan throughout the Financial Markets.

The real beauty of finger vein authentication is its versatility. Because of its small and highly manageable size, it can be used for everything from door-access control units to PC/Network log on. Finger Vein products available include USB Reader with SDK, Access Control Unit and Embedded Reader for various applications.

There are a number of applications that are being used for integrations with Finger Vein Biometrics these include Cashless Catering, Time and Attendance, SSO (Single Sign on) and Endpoint Security.

RFID Antennas / Fixed and Portable Readers

Hitachi Europe also develops and supports packaged and bespoke software solutions to provide a total RFID service solution, offering the complete project infrastructure for a successful RFID implementation. This includes a complete line of RFID antennas, fixed and portable readers, fully integrated RFID systems, RF reader components along with value added design, assembly, testing and support services.

UHF RFID Tags

We also supply our own RFID tags which include the “Worlds Smallest Chip” Mu, which operates at 2.45Ghz and offers a completely secure 128bit number which is burnt directly into the chip and cannot be amended or tampered with which makes the solution ideal for security and authentication of assets and people. To complement the Mu chip we also offer an ISO18000-6C certified RFID tag which is based on the popular UHF frequency. This UHF RFID tag offers a world wide frequency of 860Mhz to 960Mhz, a full 2k of memory is available, secure “locking” features have also been added to the functionality of the chip and it also comes fully EPC compliant.

Typical applications include Logistics & Distribution, Asset Management, Article authenticity and manufacturing control to name a few.
