eyevis - Visual Display Systems - Control Room Management Software, LC Displays and Video Wall Systems

eyevis is a German manufacturer of video wall systems, large screen display systems for control rooms, security centres, traffic surveillance, oil and gas, defence, power, utilities and water works as well as for information and presentation, virtual reality and simulation.

Video Wall Systems

eyevis provides all necessary components for video wall systems, including DLP rear-projection cubes and professional TFT LC displays, graphics controllers, wall management software and accessories. Eyevis has a worldwide network of subsidiaries, offices and partners in order to offer an excellent service level.

Wall Management Software

The M-version of the displays is mounted on a special stacking frame, which allows simple installation of modular video walls. Numerous input ports provide connectivity for any kind of signal. In combination with a netpix™ graphics controller from eyevis and the eyecon wall management software it is possible to build up large screen systems setting up new standards in the fields of command, control and surveillance.

Large Video Display Screens

The EC Cube Series contains DLP™-technology based rear-projection units. These units are stackable to build up video walls of almost any size. Their seamless design allows the user to create video walls in any size with almost invisible gaps between adjacent video display screen cubes.

Rear Projection Cubes

The EC-67-HD is a rear projection cube from eyevis’ EC Cube series, providing native HD resolution on a 67” screen in 16:9 aspect ratio. The units are addible and stackable to build up video walls of almost any size. Typical areas of applications for the EC-67-HD are control rooms, which use many video sources, or applications in the broadcasting sector.

The DLP rear-projection technology is the leading technology in the control room sector. The main reason for this is the ability to operate rear-projection systems in 24/7-mode. Additionally, it does not suffer from negative influences with static image contents like the plasma technology, which is likely to suffer from burn-in effects and ghost-images.

Professional LCD monitors

The Displays from the EYE-LCD M/W series are LC displays designed especially for “tiled” video wall applications in professional environments. The displays come in robust metal housings and provide input possibilities for many signal types. Their outstanding feature is their narrow bezel which is unique in the fields of professional LC technology, and which allows their use in video wall applications.

LC Displays

In order to make LC technology fit for video wall systems eyevis has designed special LC displays with narrow bezels to avoid wide gaps between the individual displays of a video wall. Together with their unique brightness and contrast characteristics these displays fulfill all the expectations users have of modern visualisation solutions.

Netpix Graphics Controllers

netpix is a network-based graphics controller for the control of large screen or individual presentations. Thanks to its MultiScreen facility, displays of any size can be achieved. This includes an integrated desktop for network applications, analog video or IP video and DVI/RGB as well as LAN sources.

Decoder Board

The main reason for the development of the NPX-IPDB decoder board was the rising demand for the integration of IP streams in large screen systems in control rooms. Transmitting video signals via IP networks is practically, and efficient, since the networks most often already exist.

The main advantage of the hardware decoder solution compared to software decoding, is that the performance of the system does not suffer. With software decoding the processing of the signals affects the performance of the system’s CPU. With the NPX-IPDB the processing is done by the hardware of the board.

Eyecon: Control Room Manager

The eyecon control room manager system is a complete software solution for the simple control and organisation of large screen displays and all connected signal sources. The eyecon software considerably reduces the response time of your system on incoming signals and alarms.

For a better survey on of your system, the incoming alarms of all management tools are displayed on the large screen wall where they are visible to all operators in the control room (single Point-of-View).

NPX-IPDB 3x00 for netpix controller

The IP Streaming Decoder Board is the latest development for the eyevis NPX3x00 Series, it offers hardware decoding of universal streaming video signals in real-time with very low latency.

The NPX-IPDB is an input board for the netpix controller series. It has been especially designed for the integration of IP Video streams in large screen systems
