European Antennas Ltd specialise in the design and manufacture of quality microwave antennas within the band 250MHz to 28GHz, with capability for specialist antennas up to 40GHz.
The company's directional flat panel antennas with linear, circular or dual polarisation, sector and multi-sector antennas, omni-directional and broadband antennas are used world-wide for security, covert and surveillance applications. Working with many well-known commercial and government organisations, antennas have been developed for mounting on helicopters, for tracking and receiving video and telemetry and for other discreet and covert applications.
Development projects are undertaken for specific projects. Their particular style of antenna is particularly suitable for surveillance being extremely slim and lightweight and can be painted to match their surroundings.
The company's on-site near field spherical test facility ensures antennas under development meet radiation pattern envelopes and all antennas are tested throughout manufacture to ensure they meet their quoted specification. Existing antenna designs can be customised, with a large catalogue of antennas available.
European Antennas Ltd was formed in 1991 and is a part of the Cobham Antennas Division, within Cobham plc. The research and development laboratory, test facility, manufacturing plant and administration offices are located at their Cheveley plant in Cambridgeshire, UK.
