Established in 1901 with headquarters in Belgium, Zenitel is an international market leader. Many of the world’s most important and secure establishments specify Zenitel – from the CNN Center and Capitol Hill, to Incheon International Airport, The University Hospital of Munster, Germany and countless others across the world.
Zenitel specialises in security intercom systems, such as AlphaCom E7 and the STENTOFON intercom, as well as IP integration of critical communication.
How many companies can claim over 100 years of heritage, a presence in more than 75 countries and more than one million users in the world? Zenitel, the world’s largest intercom manufacturer can. Yet despite this, STENTOFON intercom makes up just one part of the group’s large communication based portfolio. Zenitel has a unique capability to meet the needs of all types of public and private security communication, on-shore as well as marine.
Intercom Communication System: AlphaCom E7Zenitel’s most important product, AlphaCom E, the STENTOFON and Vingtor intercom and marine communication system based on IP, is the backbone of Zenitel’s most important product portfolio.
The full IP range comprises IP exchanges, IP sub-stations, IP master stations and IT/IP standards compliance, and constitutes an integral part of a total security management solution. Security is maintained through the in-built firewall and redundant network.
Zenitel has spent many years developing a line of sophisticated bi-directional repeater amplifier solutions, to create an own-brand portfolio comprising multi-frequency repeater building blocks. Zenitel Radioteknik developed its own TETRA repeater amplifier series to create an entire product portfolio. Through encompassing three basic repeater versions, Zenitel is able to meet all solution requirements in a flexible and competitive manner.
Zenitel sees the road to IP integration as an evolutional path where the system will be enhanced to support a mix of IP and traditional technologies together. Zenitel is securing the investment customers have in existing equipment and allowing them to decide the pace towards IP. Zenitel will continue strengthening the product lines but will remain committed to open standards such as SIP, VoIP, Webservices, SNMP, NTP and syslog.
Zenitel will also work towards even easier integration with third party systems like Cisco iPBX, standard IP telephones and HPOpenView.
Zenitel intends to remain at the forefront of technological developments and takes pride in being ahead of its competitors when it comes to developing and launching new communication products and security intercom systems. Zenitel believes it can create a differentiated market positioning for its customers and users.
For years Zenitel has recognized the importance of customer and employee satisfaction and conducted satisfaction surveys. The feedback has generated data which management are using to improve quality, customer focus and efficiency. Zenitel enjoys over 70% repeat (contracts) business in many parts of the organisation.
Customer satisfaction is very important to Zenitel so the company offers a full suite of services including contractual repairs, corrective, preventive, proactive and design-out maintenance.
