(BTEC Level 2 - Door Supervision)
Our door supervision course comprises of four days training, which we currently run over two weekends. Delivery includes participatory exercises, group and individual activities and trainer input.
Programme content:
Unit 1 - Roles and responsibilities of Door Supervisors (Introduction to the role of Door Supervisor, code of conduct and legal constraints, drugs, crime prevention, equal opportunities, health and safety and emergency procedures)
Unit 2 - Conflict Management for Door Supervisors (Introduction to communication and management, self awareness, avoiding conflict, effective communication and customer service skills, recognising and diffusing conflict, maintaing space, diffusing high risk conflict, resolving conflict and learning from conflict)
(Edexcel BTEC Level 3 - Close Protection Operations)
Our close protection training course covers the 150 hours of training that is necessary to apply for a licence. The course is 14 days in duration and is a combination of classroom and practical exercises. It is an intensive course and all sections of the course must be completed to allow you to apply for your licence. The training consists of:

Mercury provide an event security service for special events and functions with a team of high or low profile personnel to offer control of access, protect clients, guest and their property. We endeavour to liaise with the event organisers at an early stage to ensure the event is a complete success.
