Intertraffic was established in 1972 and has since evolved into easily the most important and largest platform for transportation infrastructure, traffic management, safety and parking sectors. The 19th edition of Intertraffic has taken place in Amsterdam RAI the Netherlands from Tuesday 1 to Friday 4 April 2008.
As leading manufacturer of videowalls, visual display systems, large display walls, DLP rear-projection cubes, graphics controllers, display management software and LCD monitor walls also eyevis was present on three partner stands as well as on a big own stand.
On their stand eyevis presented intelligent visual display solutions for control rooms in the traffic control sector, like for traffic management centres, traffic surveillance centres or CCTV surveillance control rooms. The exhibited solution were a 2x2 rear projection DLP cube wall consisting of 50" DLP cubes with SXGA+ resolution, automatic double lamp systems and automatic color and brightness correction for 24// operation connected to a netpix controller with 4 DVI outputs, 16 analog video-, 8 IP video- and 4 real time DVI inputs, driven by the eyecon wallmanagement software.
Through another netpix controller with eyecon the a large screen wall composed of six EYE-LCD5200 modular LCD screens was shown. This new product has a resolution of full HD (1920x1080 pixels) per display and is also optimized for continuous operation in control centres. Another highlight on this booth was the EYE-LCD5600QHD, a 56" LCD monitor with a resolution of 3840x2160 pixels, the particular thing with this product is that also the netpix controller is able to support this high resolution.
