ESI has designed the first Multimedia Remote Monitoring Client/Server Video System

Thanks to our skill in remote monitoring main stations, ESI has made the following observation:
- Video system prejudicial heterogeneity
- Exploitation difficulties
- Operator workstation system lack of integration
Multimedia Remote Monitoring Client/Server Video System
Faced with these problems ESI has designed the first multimedia remote monitoring client/server video system independent from manufacturer systems.
Basic concepts
- Technological partnerships video systems integration.
- Multi-users integration
- Partners systems performances respect
- Management computing and networks Independence of the solution
Performances: Multi-Stations, Multi-Networks and Multi-Manufacturers Application
V1 assets
- A client/server architecture permitting to dispatch the video on each operator workstation
- The bidirectional communication with the alarms monitoring software
- Compatibility with multiple builders
- Management of several networks types (IP, PSTN and ISDN)
- The possibility to be simultaneously connected to several video transmitters, through different protocols
- Functions of the protocol, V1 can manage up to 48 cameras by transmitter
V1 innovations
- Up to 16 display windows on the same screen
- Audio capacity allowing to listen and call on site
- The integration of various builders allows to propose now more than 40 protocols
- The concept of V1 Driver and the database engine insures the hardiness and liability of the product
- A realtime replication of events and movies on the spare server insure the availability
- The creation of generic actions sequences contributes to automation and work simplification
- The ISDN and remote connections management increases the network management possibilities
The 7 stages to integrate a protocol
- Outcoming connection and display/record of cameras
- Incoming connection and alarms
- Video storage unit Rereading with a video tape recorder interface
- Video storage unit Rereading with an interface presenting records like movies
- Exits relay Activation (lighting, door, ...)
- Audio: listening and call
- Telemetry: the operator can pilot an orbit camera once the live began.
An Intuitive and Easy to use Evolved Graphical Interface

V1 Client Main screen
Graphical Interface Modernization

- Live management Console
- Video tape recorder mode
- The video tape recorder mode permits to manage records on the transmitter.
- Remote movies mode
- The remote movies mode allows managing records on the transmitter.
- Remove all audio doubt and interpellation
- The console to remove all audio doubt permits to listen/call the site and speak to make interpellations and/or listening.
INNOVATIONS: New Modules Offering More Liability and Availability
- Telemetry: The operator can pilot an orbit camera on pre-set positions.
- New module V1 Driver: V1 Driver executes DLL communication with transmitters instead of V1 Server. It executes one module by protocol.
- 3 advantages in case of inopportune stop of a DLL:
V1 Server follows its execution and the other modules are not impacted.
Immediate identification of the responsible protocol. V1 Server is not put in question.
Automatic relaunch of the concerned V1 Driver, none users handling.
The GUARDIAN V1 Server Applications Supervisor:
- The GUARDIAN application supervises the V1 Server and V1 Driver execution.
- GUARDIAN supervises the on/off processes and check up their well operation.
V1 control M1 Client console:
The interface M1 Client offers a new console allowing to control V1 Client and to execute some actions as:
- Driving the live from one or several cameras
- Driving the listening selecting one or several speakers
- Driving intercom selecting one or several microphones
- Activating relays and sequences declared on V1
- Zoom in/out on one or several screens...

V1 MOBILE
V1 mobile is a new V1 module. It permits connections by UMTS or Internet to a video storage unit and remote monitoring cameras to view video sequences through a UMTS equipped mobile phone.
