Updated for 2006, but maintaining all the features and benefits of the original Magicard Prima, the 2E offers the highest quality reverse transfer plastic card printing.
Printing dual sided as standard in just 60 seconds, the Prima 2E is now more flexible than ever when it comes to encoding cards. The Prima 2E features an optional magnetic stripe, contactless (proximity) card and smart card encoding.
Thanks to the optional lamination feature, the Magicard Prima 2E offers the complete card production solution. Printing true over the edge, colour cards, the Prima 2E can apply customised or standard patch holograms to increase security and durability whilst making forgery detection easier.
With a USB interface as standard along with drivers for Windows 2000 and XP, the Magicard Prima 2E also features an Ethernet option for ease of network integration. Thanks to the new graphical driver, the Prima 2E has auto ribbon detection, auto cleaning prompts and ribbon status level - meaning that routine maintenance need never be overlooked.
The Prima 2E comes with Magicard's famous Ultra Cover Plus warranty, offering free helpdesk assistance, free printhead replacement whatever the reason for failure and a free loan machine until the repaired printer has been returned.
