Skyguard Technologies is launching a ‘world first’ in lone worker safety at IFSEC - a personal safety alarm with global positioning satellite accuracy that can communicate with a 24-hour emergency response and national call out service.

The Skyguard 500 alarm can pinpoint the user's location and open up two-way voice communication with the emergency response centre - run by Legion Security - enabling a controller to summon help on the user's behalf.
Skyguard also provides an independent response team of 800 licensed security personnel (operated by national keyholding and alarm specialists Nikaro) as an alternative to the emergency services.
Rising concern about the personal safety of lone workers and substantial legislation making employers responsible for their people while on duty will make this service of interest to a wide variety of organisations and companies.
