Rosslare Security announces the release of its industrial strength non-spark tactile switches EX-06 and EX-16
Rosslare Security, a worldwide provider of intrusion security products recently announced the release of the EX-06 non-spark tactile switch and the EX-16 mullion non spark tactile switch.
Tactile Switches for Harsh Industrial Environments
Developed for high-risk industry settings, the EX-Switch line operates in mines, refineries, oil rigs and other harsh industrial environments, withstanding dust, water, oil, grease and other extreme chemical materials. The two versions tolerate flammable conditions and electrical interference in indoor as well as outdoor environments.
The switches' industrial strength structure and access control technology combined with an elegant modern design also meet the needs of the indoor machinery and industrial equipment control environment.
Solid State Piezoelectric Switch Technology
The switches feature solid state Piezoelectric Switch Technology, an adjustable output time between 1 - 60 seconds, field selectable illumination states and two operation modes. The Piezoelectric switch generates a dry contact N.O and N.C relay pulse at the touch of a finger, enabling access control with magnetic locks, electric lock strikes, independent lock control or any other electrically controlled device.
The EX-06 and EX-16 switches are set in an elegant design within a modern illuminated steel case, meeting the design and aesthetic needs of advanced architectural planning. Being tactile they seamlessly respond to the touch of a finger without moving any matter. Programmable illumination choices of brilliant red or vibrant green are offered as optional settings against a no-illumination status indicator in the jumper.
The EX-16 has been designed to meet manufacturing standards out of the finest materials under Rosslare's ISO 9001:2000 Certified Quality Standards.
