The Mentor SmartLine™ S has been specifically designed and constructed to meet the demanding use of managing laptop computers within schools, colleges and universities. Each cabinet comes ready assembled being constructed of high grade steel which is fully welded, making it extremely robust and strong.
Each cabinet offers high security locking doors which have recently been further upgraded to combat aggressive laptop theft. The new Enhanced Door Security (EDS) offers:
- Increased thickness of steel to front doors (minimum 2mm thick)
- Heavy duty and anti-jemmy hinge systems
- Anti-jemmy and cover plates as standard on front doors

Data Transfer Module (DTM)
Remotely accessing laptops can save time, money and valuable resources. It can give IT departments' greater flexibility when loading or upgrading software, and can provide teaching staff with the ability to send data to multiple users via the colleges own network.
The remote access functionality can run over a single LAN or on different LAN segments, allowing communication between various locations - important on campus where buildings are often situated some distance apart. The Data Transfer Module, which is available for the SmartLine S™ and ChargeLine™ S, allows data to be uploaded or downloaded to each laptop housed in that module.
