Even more exciting is that the network connectivity can be extended with unique LapSafeŽ "Data Transfer Modules" allowing the ICT technician to remotely "wake up" laptops that have been powered off before being locked in the cabinet.
It is then just a network task to control and update the configuration and software on individual, groups or even all of laptops whilst they are still held alarmed, secure and recharging inside the closed cabinet.
All this can be achieved from a remote location as required (e.g. the ICT Network Room). Again, power and cooling are properly implemented and need no special considerations.
