ICx Technologies, a developer of advanced technology solutions for homeland and military security, announced today the formation of a Solutions Division focused on the development and deployment of subsystems consisting of multiple, interrelated ICx security technologies.
In designing integrated subsystems that are in line with industry requirements, the Solutions Division will draw on the complete ICx family of detection and surveillance products, including thermal cameras, long and short-range radar, and chemical, biological, radiological, nuclear, and explosive (CBRNE) detectors.
"This enhancement to our corporate structure will allow us to take full advantage of the unique breadth of product solutions that reside under the ICx umbrella," said Hans Kobler, CEO of ICx Technologies. "The continuing fusion of our technologies into functional packages will present attractive solutions to system integrators and end users as they address next generation military and Homeland Security initiatives."
Leading the Solutions Division in the position of President will be Stan Green, currently the CEO of DAQ Electronics, Inc., a wholly-owned subsidiary of ICx. As co-founder and CEO of DAQ, Green has been instrumental in establishing the company's presence in both the Physical Security and SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) markets for more than thirty years.
