SubscribeGlobal CBRNE specialist Allen-Vanguard has improved its range of Hook and Line (HAL) rigging equipment by adding to its Vehicle Access Kit.
The kit comprises a multi-purpose clamp and a range of field-proven specialist tools which are intended to make vehicle access easier for bomb disposal technicians.
In-depth field tests and discussions with bomb technicians have been critical to the improvements, which come in response to the recent increase in Vehicle Borne IEDs (VBIEDs): between 2003 and 2004, the number of incidents more than doubled worldwide.
