Skyguard Technologies offers a quick and effective way for lone workers to summon help should they find themselves in a difficult situation.

Skyguard Personal Safety Service

The solution offered comprises personal safety devices that combine precise GPS positioning with mobile phone technology, 24/7 monitoring, and a national emergency response service of more than 800 vehicles.

When activated, the PSD sends an alarm to Skyguard's 24 hour emergency response centre where the user's personal, employment and medical details are instantly retrieved from the company's database. This information is displayed to Skyguard's controllers, together with the precise location shown on large scale Ordnance survey mapping.

A two-way audio link enables the controller to verify the alarm as genuine and to listen-in to identify the problem. If necessary, the controller will organise the appropriate assistance from either the emergency services of Skyguard's own national response team.

Customers include logistics and facilities management companies, police forces and hotel chains, social housing managers, security companies and individuals.
