The winners of the annual competition are to be announced on December 3rd.
Keith DiMarino, President of DocuVault Delaware Valley, LLC (DDV), was named a finalist in the NJBIZ Business of the Year Awards Competition in the category of Corporate Citizen of the Year.
Through the awards, NJBIZ honors businesses and business leaders who have made significant contributions to the growth, strength and success of the state of New Jersey. Winners in each of six categories will be announced during the third annual NJBIZ Business of the Year gala December 3, 2008 at The Palace at Somerset Park, Somerset, NJ.
According to NJBIZ, finalists are a select group of companies and individuals who have achieved notable success and demonstrated strong leadership in and commitment to both their industries and their communities.
Raised in Woodbury, NJ, DiMarino lives close to his business in West Deptford today and is active in the community. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Woodbury Olde City Restoration Committee (WORC) as vice president. He is also a member of The Executive Network of Southern New Jersey as well as the Philadelphia Business Leaders Alliance (PBLA).
A graduate of The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, DiMarino began his professional career as a district vice president for Denver, Colorado-based DocuVault, a records management and data vaulting company. In June, DiMarino took control of DDV by buying out the Denver company’s stake.
Industrial Shredding and Vaulting
Established in 2001, DDV provides industrial shredding, storage, media vaulting, and scanning.
Eligible nominees for the awards must be for-profit entities headquartered in New Jersey. Finalists were selected in the following categories:
- Business of the Year (1-50, 51-100, and 101+ employees)
- Emerging Business of the Year
- Executive of the Year
- Corporate Citizen of the Year
The following people served as an independent panel of judges to choose the finalists: Jim Barrood of Fairleigh Dickinson University, Dr. Mitchell Koza of the Rutgers Camden School of Business, Mark Kuehn of Gibbons, P.C., and Cynthia Osofsky of the NJEDA.
