BQT Signs Distributors for Queensland, ACT, South Australia and Northern Territory

The BQT Business Model has been completely revamped and in its new form is split into two main divisions.

The established project based business will continue to pursue high infrastructure projects with Installation and Integration partners.

The new distribution division will concentrate on establishing distribution partners in the main centres of Australia and New Zealand. At the same time Distribution Partners are also being canvassed internationally.

Following BQT's recent announcement of its new Distribution Model BQT has successfully secured distributors in QLD, ACT, SA and the Northern Territory. Each of these newly appointed distributors have acquired demonstration equipment and BQT is in the final stages of training their sales and technical support staff.

We are targeting the small to medium enterprise and a distributed infrastructure is fundamentally critical to supply our products into these market sectors. BQT has designed its product base to deliver unique functionality features that can be applied in the high end as well as low to medium end security applications.

Through the project based business BQT had access to about 25% of the market. We are now increasing this to provide a solutions offering to 100% of the security market. By Using our Distribution Partners to break into the remaining 75% of the market BQT has to expand its infrastructure minimally to tap into this opportunity.

Feedback from the newly appointed Distributors has been very positive. "The response from the market surprised me with their interest and acceptance of the BQT offering" Our distributors are now embarking on a direct mail and cold canvassing campaign of registered security installers and building and electrical contractors in their territories. Concurrently BQT will host product seminars in each territory to present the products to pre qualified clients. Already new sales are trickling in, a lot sooner than in our original forecast.

Each Distributor agreement is performance based and distributors have to commit to minimum annual sales and the appointment of dedicated sales and technical support staff. BQT will back the distribution business with general marketing and second line technical support.

The appointment of a distributor for NSW and Victoria is in the final stages of negotiations. We are confident that these negotiations will be concluded before the end of the last quarter. BQT Solutions and the BQT Solutions logo are registered trademarks of BQT Solutions (Australia) Pty Ltd.
