With the New Close Protection Year upon us and the changes in legislation, the set date by the SIA for licensing of the Protective Security Sector is the 20th March 2006. CTR Services Ltd would like to reflect on the past 12 months and look forward to the New Year by giving you an overveiw of what we have developed.
In 2005 we have passed 25 Close Protection Officers with grades of High 90% for the SIA exams and for the CTR Services Ltd exams. With this success we have taken on seven new officers within our organisation.
The training packages we provided last year were intensive but rewarding to the students and the comments we had back from them reflect that:

During the year we have set up many other training courses and destinations around the globe and we are proud of the quality reputation we have been developing. The new packages for 2006 are the 5 day firearms course which is recognised by the National Rifles Association (NRA), this course is the Only Force on Force course to use 8mm Simmunitions.
We have also developed a surveillance and intelligence officer’s course which focuses on the new investigatory trends and utilises retired members of the Home Office and the Security Services (MI5). This course is set to be a success as it focuses not only on surveillance but intelligence gathering within the Security & Investigations Sectors.
