Both the aluminum model (top) and the ABS housing (center) come with the mounting bracket (shown separately bottom). Each is available with or without the combination of a heater, blower system and sunshield as shown. Models with sunshield can reduce the internal temperature by 2oC (4oF).
Installation is simple and there is easy access for servicing of either model. STI backs them with a two-year warranty on enclosure, bracket and electronics within normal use.
Both models have a spring assisted forward opening lid and aluminum models also have a rear link-lock latch. In addition, aluminum models have two cord grips on the bottom of the enclosure with a minimum diameter of 6 mm (.24 in.) and a maximum diameter of 10 mm (.41 in.) ABS models have one cord grip.
