Access Control

Miditec Datensysteme GmbH

Whether a simple access control system is necessary or a high-security installation needs to be protected, MTZ® Access can adapt to the respective requirements.

MTZ® Access

Biometric, PIN code, threat code, repeated access blocking, area changeover control or dual control functionalities can be freely combined and used.

Individually configurable weekly programs and time zones ensure that access permissions can be precisely configured for each employee. Authorised persons are free to come and go, while unauthorised persons are denied access.

Any irregularities are immediately recognised via the internal system monitoring and appropriate actions can be taken or suggested. All processes are automated as far as possible; however, manual intervention is possible at any time.

A hazard detection system, a video surveillance system or a building security management system can be added to the access control module.

Hardware
The hardware is equipped with non-contact reader technology. This ensures that access bookings are carried out easily and trouble-free. Extra protection can be provided for sensitive areas through the use of biometrics. The verification provided by finger-print readers or iris recognition devices ensure that only selected persons can gain access.

Analyses
Online ledgers and access overviews provide an overview of all current and past access bookings. Area changeover control specifies which persons are located in which areas and how many persons are present in the whole building.

Card blocking
Card blocking allows access permissions to be withdrawn at any time and ensures that entire key systems do not need to be replaced.

Person-related events
Person-related events enable extra functions to be stored for an access booking specific to a person.

Combined with offline locking system
Using the MTZ Milock Locking System, it is possible to connect stand-alone door terminals to the access control network. Access rights are written to the cards daily via a read/write terminal.
