Biometrics
The biometric terminals are designed to recognize individual fingerprints providing a high level of security. The user can be identified by means of a badge or a key tag. Then the biometric system verifies that the data conforms to the holder data stored on the badge or the key tag.
The terminal IT 400 FP PIN incorporates a numeric keyboard for code entry, effectively making the use of badges or key fobs obsolete. To generate a booking, the employee enters a PIN code and then places his finger on the fingerprint sensor. If the scanned fingerprint matches the record stored in the terminal, the booking is accepted.
